[California] California’s Governor signs the Musk Reduction Act / Requirements for Vaginal Suppository Cosmetics

The Governor of California has signed the Musk Reduction Act (Assembly Bill No.60), which bans 4 musk ingredients, D4, Sodium Perborate, and several other substances already included in the Annex II of EU Cosmetic Regulation. It also introduces a restriction on Musk Ketone, which mirrors the EU Annex III entry restriction on this ingredient.

The Bill also introduces warning requirements for vaginal suppository cosmetics with intentionally added Boric Acid.
