Meet Melbec – Morgan

With a passion for learning, a drive for professional development, and a genuine commitment to supporting both clients and colleagues, Morgan has quickly become an invaluable part of the team. Her role is wonderfully varied, her enthusiasm is infectious, and her journey into microbiology shows just how far curiosity and a willingness to grow can take you.

How did you come to work at Melbec Microbiology?
I had been searching for a role that offered real opportunities for development and the chance to learn a new skill set. That led me to apply for the position at Melbec Microbiology, and I’m so glad I did.

What is your daily focus/role at Melbec Microbiology?
As a Client Support Co‑ordinator, my role is wonderfully varied. My day can include anything from processing samples to liaising with our fantastic clients and preparing and issuing their reports. No two days look the same, which makes the role both interesting and rewarding.

What has been your favourite or most exciting project to work on throughout your career?
My role provides the chance to expand my knowledge across all areas of the business. I couldn’t pick just one favourite project, but I truly enjoy working in such a diverse role where every day offers something new to learn.

What do you love most about working at Melbec Microbiology?
Without a doubt, the team. I feel privileged to work alongside such knowledgeable, warm, and supportive colleagues. Their guidance has made a huge difference in my journey here, and I’m grateful to be part of such a collaborative environment.

What are you most looking forward to in the future?
I’m excited to continue growing within my role — developing my skills further so I can support both our clients and our team even more effectively.
