Melbec Microbiology Wins Award for Innovative Colony Counter Project
We are incredibly proud to share that Melbec Microbiology was highly commended for the Secure the Future Award at this year’s Innovate to Elevate Awards, a recognition we are truly honoured to have received. This achievement recognises the hard work and innovation behind our Laboratory Automation Program in partnership with the University of Salford and Manchester Metropolitan University, a project designed to improve accuracy, efficiency, and consistency within microbiological testing.
This award reflects the dedication and technical expertise that has gone into its development. We are incredibly grateful to have been awarded alongside such impressive and forward thinking organisations. Being recognised at this level reinforces the importance and potential of the work we are doing. We extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported us, including those who participated in the public vote. Your backing means so much to our team and our partners at the two universities.
This recognition motivates us even further as we continue to develop our Digital laboratory and explore new opportunities to advance microbiology through innovation. We look forward to sharing the next steps of this journey with you.
