[Minnesota, USA] PFAS Reporting Deadline Extended to 15 September 2026

On April 15, 2026, the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) announced a second extension of the reporting deadline for products containing intentionally added PFAS sold in Minnesota. The initial reporting deadline has been postponed to September 15, 2026, while subsequent reports will be due annually on February 1.

Manufacturers that are unable to meet the revised deadline may apply for a single 90-day extension. Extension request forms, along with applicable fees, must be postmarked by August 16, 2026. Approved applicants will have a final reporting deadline of December 14, 2026.

The reporting requirement originates from the state’s PFAS pollution prevention law, Amara’s Law, signed on May 24, 2023.
