Safety Data Sheets (SDS)

What is an SDS?

A Safety Data Sheet (SDS) is an important document that is required for the transport and storage of cosmetic products. It contains instructions for the safe handling of a product.

Does my product need an SDS?

Many retailers ask for a SDS especially if a product requires handling or storage in a certain way. Products we often complete SDS for include bath products, body mists, EDTs, hair sprays and hand washes. If you’re unsure, please contact us and we can support you and your product.

How long does it take?

Our turnaround time is 10 working days from the receipt of all necessary documents.

To learn more about how Melbec can help with your SDS requirements, don’t hesitate to call or email us.

If you would like a quote for your regulatory work, please contact clientservices@melbecmicrobiology.co.uk today.
