Introduction

Our regulatory team has extensive experience across compliance and regulatory services. They are here to ensure that your products receive efficient, thorough and fair assessment.

Process

Our regulatory admin team will receive your submission and perform a document check before our safety assessors set to work on assessing your product. We will work with you to ensure that the correct documents are provided. Additional documentation may be requested as work progresses on the report. Once completed, the admin team will email the report to you.

Our standard turnaround time can be up to 10 working days from the receipt of all necessary documents.

Services

The regulation services offered by Melbec include but are not limited to:

Cosmetic Product Safety Reports (CPSR)

  • CPSR is compliant with EU and UK cosmetic regulations (EC No. 1223/2009 and Schedule 34 of the Product Safety and Metrology SI Regulations).
  • Note: where information such as stability or challenge test are not available then the report will be issued as a provisional report.

  • A safety data sheet for EU or UK.

  • Check for compliance of products across international regulation. We can assess against a bespoke suite of regions that match the target regions of your products.
  • USA State-level legislation; Proposition. 65, New York 1,4-Dioxane, Washington Lead Restriction.

  • Review of labels for compliance with EU / UK requirements. Other regions will be considered on request.

  • We can report on the claims made by a product, their suitability/appropriateness, and whether they are satisfactorily substantiated by the data provided.

  • Compilation of product information file from the information supplied by the customer.

  • INCI created from formulation and fragrance information.
