The EN 14561 is a phase 2 step 2 test and is part of a unique set of tests which consist of the EN 14561, EN 14562 and EN 14563. These tests are not like other phase 2 step 2 surface tests as the surface with the organism on is fully submerged in product to simulate how certain medical devices would be sterilised
